We just returned from our fabulous trip to Italy!

We had such a fantastic time and can’t wait to share some pictures with you. As you may know from our first post, the wedding was in a small town about an hour north of Rome called Orvieto–which is known for its intricate lace, delicious black truffles, wild boar and white wines. We couldn’t help but instantly fall in love with this environment and the locals.

We have a few great photos of Paola the local wedding planner and Cristina who owns the restaurant used for the reception. These will be posted soon, but for now here are a few snapshots from the trip, enjoy!

Stay tuned for more…

I just stumbled upon your blog, and saw this post! I lived in Orvieto for a year and am getting married there in the Duomo in April (reception at Maurizio’s). I would love to hear more about this wedding :)

I’m glad you liked Orvieto - It is one of my favorite places on earth!!

Cheers,
Nancy

I loved to work with you very much!
You are the best collaborator I could ever meet to arrange a very special wedding in Italy and hope to see you soon again in Orvieto: I miss you a lot!
Take care and BACI & ABBRACCI from ORVIETO,

I just stumbled across your lovely photos while googling ORvieto Weddings - just wondered where you had your wedding reception in Orvieto? And how did you arrange the picnic in the caves - it looks so beautiful and unusual. Who was your wedding planner? Congrats!
